If you are looking to add text to your shoes and/or apparel order, you want to make sure that you are choosing a font that will work well for what you want to use it for. See below for tips and hints on how to choose a great font for your order. 

We know you are probably not a digital artist and the information below may seem greek to many of our users. The most important thing to understand is that our shoe designers are professionally trained digital artists. If you don’t specify any particular edits to your text, rest assured, our designers will use all the tools at their disposal to make your text edits look great. We may use several of the design edits below and we will choose a font that looks great and fits your text for you. Choose from our favorite fonts!

We have pre-selected 72 of our favorite fonts for use in customizing our shoes and apparel. Think carefully about the content of your text that you are including when selecting your font. Things you should consider:

• Is your text long? If you are trying to add a longer string of text (greater than 10 characters), you should definitely try to choose a narrower font so that your text will be readable. If you select a wide font, our designers may contact you if they can’t make your font fit in the space you want it.
• Are you adding numbers? Many of our customizations are for parents who supporting their children in sports, or maybe adding a graduation year for a graduation gift, or adding an important date to their shoes. In this case, look carefully at the numeric part of the examples shown.
• Are you using all capitals? Some of the more curvy fonts just won’t work well for all caps, however, most of the fonts we have listed are GREAT for titles or names that need to be 100% capitalized.

These are just a few of the things you should be considering. Again, don’t worry if you aren’t sure. Just let us do the work for you and we’ll make it awesome!
